The Expanded exhibition, part of the three-chapter project of the CRT Photographic Collection, celebrates photography as vertigo and reinterpretation of art. At the GAM, 22 photos by Gianfranco Gorgoni dedicated to Spiral Jetty and portraits of artists stand out, alongside works by Luigi Ghirri that engage in dialogue with other photographic visions. The collection includes historical shots by Gabriele Basilico, Ugo Mulas, and others, enriched by a site-specific installation by Jacopo Benassi, who explores 19th-century painted skies, transforming them into photographic sculpture.
